Insect-plant interactions;
Plant silicon defense;
Host plant resistance;
Biological control; IPM

I am a faculty member in the Department of Entomology at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh. My research focuses on how silicon impacts plant defenses against herbivorous insects and its potential to enhance biological control of pest insects. I am broadly interested in the ecology of insect-plant interactions and the sustainable management of agricultural pests, particularly by integrating host plant resistance and biological control.
